Fujikura 35S Fiber Optic Fusion Splicer + Fujikura CT16 Fiber Optic Cleaver
Fujikura 35S Fiber Optic Fusion Splicer
The 35S is a liner alignment splicer, setting a new standard in the splicer market. The 35S is equipped with a host of new and improved features, specifically developed to enable faster splicing cycle times with greater accuracy.
FASTER OPERATION
Simultaneous fiber preparation
Fiber preparation, stripping, cutting, and positioning in the splicer generally need to be repeated separately for left and right side fibers. The process in the 35S eliminates this and allows for simultaneous fiber preparation thanks to the new SS05 dual fiber stripper, the new AD16 fiber adapter for the CT16 cutter and the 35S’s own smart setting plate mechanism.
USER-FRIENDLY DESIGN
Adjustable LCD monitor
The 35S is equipped with a movable 4.95-inch color LCD monitor to ensure optimal visibility in a wide range of conditions, even when outdoors in direct sunlight.
Easy positioning of the protector
The space between the edges of the left and right fiber clamp is 60mm, as shown in the left image.
This distance allows for easy positioning of the protector, with the splice point placed in the center of the protector.
The scale on the heater shows the guide for other sleeve lengths, for example 40mm.
Removable battery
The removable battery makes replacement easy and accessible.
Smaller size
Removable battery makes replacement The cube shape provides a reduced base area while providing the user with large operating space.
CONSTANT QUALITY
Active Fusion Control
The 35S is equipped with Fujikura’s active fusion control technology, which analyzes the fiber image during fusion and controls the arc discharge accordingly. The result is stable splicing loss regardless of the environment.
Control by cut fiber surface
A bad cut on one end is a potential reason for high splice loss. The 35S can address this because it is equipped to control fusion according to the condition of the cut surface. This feature helps reduce splicing loss from poor cuts.
Real-time fusion control
The 35S analyzes the fiber image during fusion and controls the fusion energy according to the real-time condition of the fiber. This helps minimize splicing loss regardless of the environment.
This process also provides Warm Splice Image (WSI) technology. WSI analyzes during splicing and provides a loss estimate, even though the 35S is a liner alignment splicer. It prevents the case of “good loss estimation but bad actual loss”.
